Grades are important butMar 13 2017Education
Grades are important but extracurricula's are just as important. Marist wants their students to be involved on and off of campus. Show interest in the school, come on a tour, get in touch with admissions or the dean of your school (major), and reach out to current students!

Applying was not difficult, there's a $50 application feeJun 15 2015Computer Science
Applying was not difficult, there's a $50 application fee. They look for well rounded kids who are active in their high schools and have good grades and SAT's. i had a 1260 between Math and Reading, so I got some academic money along with my athletic scholarship. they are pretty good about grants and scholarships and the amounts start at $5000 which is nice.
SAT: 1260 Male
GPA and standardized test scores are obviously extremely importantJul 28 2013Business - Management and Administration
GPA and standardized test scores are obviously extremely important. However, Marist looks really hard for leadership in their perspective students. Marist is a popular school. Many of my friends say that they were the only ones accepted out of dozens that applied in high school. Extracurriculars definitely have a huge weigh on your application.
SAT: 2200 Female

I just did well in school academicallyJun 07 2012Biology
I just did well in school academically. I wasn't involved in a whole bunch of different extracurricular activities. I had a few things that I was really passionate about that demonstrated many sides of my character. I would suggest to do both of these things and have a really good essay that shows a part of yourself to the admissions committee.
