I got high SAT and ACT scoresJul 29 2015Nutrition
I got high SAT and ACT scores. If you meet the averages(look them up on the FSU admissions website) then you will likely get in. If your scores are below average, you need to show that you are above average in other ways - extracurriculars, volunteer hours, etc. If you don't get into FSU, but you really want to come here, then do community college first at TCC! A LOT of people do TCC and then transfer into FSU. It's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it's a great way to save some money and improve your study skills before matriculating to FSU. Plus you can still get involved with on-campus activities at FSU as a TCC or FAMU student.

All you need to do to get in thisApr 11 2009English
all you need to do to get in this university is be a resident of florida. they don't accept many out-of-state students. if you are involved in sports, you'll get in. if you are a decent musician or artist, you'll get in. to be honest, my essay was half-heartedly written as this was the last school i wanted to go to. i was in the top 5% of my class and did well on my SATs.

Anybody can get inMay 03 2006Chemistry
Anybody can get in. If that cowgirl can make it, anybody can. Most of them freshman drop out. And all those damn hicks only go to FSEW (A.K.A For Stupid Undergrads) for the football team and they are terrible. If you dont have team spirit they will threaten you with violence. I hate all those damn people and I hope they burn in hell. If we keep having colleges like this in our country we will never get rid of presidents like George Bush.

I'm a member of the Marching ChiefsOct 23 2005Other
I'm a member of the Marching Chiefs. This is probably the best thing I have done here, because you meet so many people right away. Fist, it's a great marching band. I was having a hard time choosing between two colleges, and picked FSU because of the better band. I'm glad I did too, its an amazing experience. How often does a random FSU student get to walk out on the football field to thousands of screaming fans cheering for YOU?
True, you aren't going to get to know all 400+ Chiefs, but you become close with your section. I'd say I know about half of chiefs. There's also a great chance that you will have a marching chief in at least one of your classes every single semester until you graduate.
If you're worried about fitting in at FSU, Marching Chiefs is a GREAT way to go about meeting people. The only thing you have to know how to do is play a band instrument.

It is extremely easy to get into FSU ifAug 22 2005Biology
It is extremely easy to get into FSU if you are instate. Just get a 3.0 and a 1100. You could write an essay to make it easier. If you join any clubs or sports, you are guaranteed in. Also, the Honors programs is a bit misleading. The only benefit of it is to get Early Registration. And for research if you want Honors in the Major, which is easy to get into if you have decent grades.
