Main thing for me was the two years of hard work I put in during my Junior and Senior year of high school. I started dual enrollment and getting the liberal arts credits out of the way, working, keeping my grades up, applying on time and DOING THOSE SCHOLARSHIP ESSAYS. haha, but now, I get paid to go to school :) Its worth it ya'll

all you need to do to get in this university is be a resident of florida. they don't accept many out-of-state students. if you are involved in sports, you'll get in. if you are a decent musician or artist, you'll get in. to be honest, my essay was half-heartedly written as this was the last school i wanted to go to. i was in the top 5% of my class and did well on my SATs.

I had about a 3.5 in High School and 1200 on the reading/math SAT (I only took them once). I'm not sure if it still is like this, but the essays were optional on the application when I applied; I didn't do them and still got in. I wouldn't recommend that though; if I was to do it all again I would have sent in essays to be safe.

I really didn't do much to get inMar 05 2008Political Science
I really didn't do much to get in. I submitted my SAT scores and my essays and that's pretty much it. There are soem people who have been rejected but I had pretty good scores throughout high school. I also got accepted to some Ivy League schools but I decided to go here because of cost issues.
