I got high SAT and ACT scores. If you meet the averages(look them up on the FSU admissions website) then you will likely get in. If your scores are below average, you need to show that you are above average in other ways - extracurriculars, volunteer hours, etc. If you don't get into FSU, but you really want to come here, then do community college first at TCC! A LOT of people do TCC and then transfer into FSU. It's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it's a great way to save some money and improve your study skills before matriculating to FSU. Plus you can still get involved with on-campus activities at FSU as a TCC or FAMU student.

If you are an in state student, then its tough. They take your high school math, english, and science grades only. If you take AP classes then they only give a 1/2 point bump. You pretty much need a 4.0 in math, english and science. You can get past many by having a good test score and applying early. You can also try dual enrollment at your CC your senior year HS.Then come in as a transfer student.
