West Virginia Wesleyan College

I would not recommend Wesleyan to any H.S. or college students. College is supposed to be the best time of your life but you spend most of the time arguing with someone in the financial, business, or academic affairs office. Many of the professors are intelligent and sincere with their interaction with students but some are unorganized and could not care less about their students. The financial affairs office does not tell you but if there is any positive balance remaining in your account when you graduate, THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY. They are in severe financial distress. Since graduation they have failed to successfully mail transcripts to three different graduate schools. WVWC also failed to correctly fill out and return my student learn deferment paperwork. As a result I was harrassed by a collections agency because I assumed everything had been taken care of and hadn't made payments. I was not allowed to register for graduate classes and my credit score was dramatically lowered. When contacted they admitted their mistake but still have not sent in the paperwork! It is a joke. They charge you for anything and everything they can. WVWC claims to pride itself in helping all alumni find jobs after graduation, but I have received no assistance or information. I wish I would have attended another college.
