West Virginia Wesleyan College

The people are the core to this college, they are both what holds it together and tries to rip it apart. Some faculty/staff are excellent while others are absolutely horrible and will drive you away from departments entirely. If I hadn't made such good friends here I would transfer ASAP, though perhaps we are such good friends because of that incredible amount of crap we had to go through as freshman. Simply put, the college is not worth the money, and it keeps getting more expensive. They also nickel and dime you to death.

If you happen to go for a tour, ask to see some of the dorms they DON'T show you, which is essentially every male and coed dorm. I doubt they'll show you because they're crap. Nothing is repaired when it is broken, very rarely are things properly cleaned. The campus itself can be pretty at times but I would not call it exceptional at all. Simply put, the more involved I become with this college the more dismayed, angry and utterly disappointed I am with it.

2nd Year Male -- Class 2010

I will be honest. Beautiful campus, unfortunately it is in a town that for the most part doesn't support the students as they say. They nickel and dime you to death at the school. Some faculty are amazing people, quite nice who care about helping you. Others are condescending. Great ideas behind the schools' programs, with not so much opportunity foreseen for after college. It isn't even the students that make me uneasy, but townspeople who pass judgment on you for going to school there. The police support this and ticket out of state cars for NO reason sometimes. Just don't go off campus and expect to be treated like you would in another area. Not one of West Virginia's finer cities, making the school less attractive. In all fairness, I did feel that academic level wasn't bad at all in science departments. A decent place for some people if you come from a very small area, but certainly not for me. -LEAVING.

Holy Shit, this school is a piece of shit. The students here are like idiots and savage from 10,000 BC. Asked what do you like to do, they would they "deer hunting", and "living in a farm." Why do you like to live in a farm? "I can pee wherever I want." These people don't know what is college, maybe that is the reason why they come here. Have no idea what happens outside WV. "Oh, I got an intern in Morgantown." Holy shit, another red neck ghetto! When you graduate, congratulations, you are unemployed too. Ridiculously, they have a lot of sports programs, students play sports and "train" everyday. Think about it, what can you get from playing Sports in this school? If you play sport in famous big school, it will decorate your resume, what the fuck point of playing sports here? Those regarded as "top" students are just average, because most of the students are way below the average. I transferred from another school, same exam, 10-20% lower than my previous school in terms of grade. Numerous crime, such as drug (you all know whom I am talking about, eh?) and theft (captured in Walmart). I just want to move ASAP.
