WVWC is a joke.English
WVWC is a joke. Most of the professors are unprofessional, and the education is worthless. The dormitories were pathetic! I would not allow my dog to eat the food served in their dining hall, and question why health inspectors have not shut it down. PARENTS: BEWARE! WVWC is not worth the money, and who knows if you are one of the lucky parents, maybe your child will come down with an illness from all of the mold that climbs the walls in Halloway, Jenkins, Agnus Howard, and Camden dormitories. Do your child and yourself a favor find another school! By the way, the security system that they brag about does not work most of the time, yet you pay for it~dearly I might add. Basically, WVWC is glorified high school (at a pretty penny).

Question
The Wesleyan brochure is very pretty and soBrightEconomics
The Wesleyan brochure is very pretty and so is the campus - they leave out alot though too... they don't tell you that there is a railroad track around the back of campus by the freshmen & senior dorms that has trains running 6-8 times/day ...or the 24 hour sawmill that runs behind the freshman dorms. Wesleyan "guarantees" housing for full-time students and you have to be "allowed" to live off campus - however, it is common to not have a housing assignment until the day you move on campus, be a junior stuck in freshmen dorms or get a suite and then be told your living room is going to be converted into a dorm room. The academics are good - but the administration will drive you insane. Lots of red tape & closed doors. Also they mislead campus security reports -- Ex: Rapes are very common, especially at frats, but the school, though recognizing frats, does not have to include crimes that occur there in their crime statistics. They also do not report rapes that the victim does not prosecute - which accounts for 90% ... very misleading.
