Question
Thus far the scholastic points of Alfred areBright
Thus far the scholastic points of Alfred are incredible- especially in my division at the art and design school. You will not find a better art program anywhere. The facilities here are for the most part amazing with some buildings that are brand new and some that have some wonderful history. Faculty are all friendly for the most part...residence life can be a pain but that goes for any school. My one gripe with this campus is that the food is really not good unless you go to smaller on campus dining halls which aren't available on weekends. The main dining hall is really a problem. With that in mind though- the rest was everything I hoped and more.

Question
I thought that I had made a goodQuite BrightMechanical Engineering
I thought that I had made a good choice by choosing Alfred. 4 years later I am graduating at the top of my class and have been extremely disappointed with my time here. Most of the professors are terrible. There are a few good ones but most of them leave after a few years. The Admissions Office lied about placement rates after graduation and there is a lawsuit pending. The financial aid office is a shit show. People that work there would be fired if they worked for a company accounting department. DO NOT GO TO ALFRED!
