Like some of the other reviews on here a majority of the people think they belong on those "OC" tv shows. Many of these kids think they are special because of the BMW they drive and desinger jeans they wear. Not everyone is like this but there are quite a few. The social scence is what you make it but is nothing like larger colleges. To me this place feels like a high school. You see the same people over and over and there does seem to be a farily large amount of drama. Maybe because alot of theses kids want to be actors..who knows? The frats and sorietys here are a joke. Its basically a pay for friends setup. I found my niche through athletics and have quite a few friends but the small size and the people here really put me off.

And if your not into the whole LA,Orange County, look at me style then I wouldnt recommneded this school.

The academics here are suberp. Professors learn your name, are knowledgable about the subjects, and actually care about you. Campus is beautiful but at the same time it seems they waste money on crap. I swear everything is named after somebody and its not because there did something noteworthy. They just paid for it.

If your looking for that typical college experience you are not going to find it here.

Very OC. Snobby people.Quite BrightPolitical Science
Very OC. Snobby people. Its basically an overpriced commuter school. I wish there was more diversity (not enough mexicans, blacks, asians, except white people no offense to white people). I hate it here i cant wait to transfer

Question
Although most teachers are friendly and go outQuite BrightPolitical Science
Although most teachers are friendly and go out of their ways to help you, this is completely unrealistic. It is almost as if we continue to be babied and will never be ready for the real world. The students here are the worst part. Most are not trustworthy, decent people. It is difficult to find real friends. Almost everyone who is worth getting to know transfers because people here are too fake and love drama. Because it is such a small school, it is nearly impossible to find new groups to hang out with because you know literally almost everyone in your grade, and you see the same 10 people everywhere you go.
