Wow well where do I begin, I amQuite BrightTelecommunications
Wow well where do I begin, I am a freshman almost done with year one here at Chapman and it has not been an easy or fun year at all. First of all I would like to say I love the tvbj program here at Chapman they are wonderful staff to work with and very understanding. The thing I have the most trouble with here at Chapman are the other students. This is a school that has BIG BIG PROBLEMS WITH IT'S STUDENTS. Basically Chapman is a school that has girls and guy who are wealthy, close-minded dumb bimbos who don't care about anyone else but themselves and there clique of friends...THIS IS CALLED CHAPMAN HIGH FOR A REASON..Remember high school? well here is the second coming here at chapman. The girls are fake big boobed blondes that walk around talking on there cell phones and in their designer clothes with horrific attitudes and even worse personalities. The guys walk around as if they are high school jocks all over again and are in the gym more often then they are in class. Basically people here walk around as if they can walk over everyone they meet here. It is very sickening.. that people could not show compassion, and friendliness. Don't even get me started on the Fraternities and Sororities here at Chapman they are a joke. They are Big High School cliques that think they rule campus. Actually they do. WE have about 5,000 students here at Chapman and about 20 - 30% are in greek life..so there is such a pressure here to be in it, and if you don't join you can consider yourself "alone" because no one will care about you or give you any kind of attention... IT IS A COMPLETE JOKE HERE... The School Cares more about it's appeal to attract new students and add more to a school that is continually building, rather then caring for its students that are already enrolled. In fact this school tries to dime and nickel us students as much as they possibly can, for example I don't have a car so our school said they were going to impound bikes and give out tickets to student who lock them in places other than on bike racks..there are literally no bike racks around this campus! They are just trying to squeeze us students for a few more bucks. There are also maintenance issues as door are always broken and what not..its a complete joke..its almost like Chapman is understaffed..I mean what are we paying $50,000 here for? THIS SCHOOL IS ONE BIG JOKE OF A BIG HIGH SCHOOL AND FOLLOWS WITH MANY OTHER PROBLEMS. My advice is to checkout another school that will care about its students and also a school that a student can fit it well..I mean anyone can fit in well..Not a bimbo blonde driving her mercedes benz that her rich father bought her or even a gym rat big model stud of a guy either.. because thats what life is like here at Chapman University..I recommend anyone looking at colleges to stay away from this school..its ridiculous!

Question
Back in the day Chapman had a 'Satellite'Engineering Department
Back in the day Chapman had a 'Satellite' Electronics BS degree program, that never really got off the ground; how do you turn a 'liberal Arts College into a tech one' ?. However some of us did manage to graduate from the program and personally speaking it has served me very well. The school does have a good academic record outside of California; I live on the East Coast presently, and having the Chapman degree has allowed entry into other Graduate programs at more prestigious schools.

Best of luck

Question
Housing staff is atrocious.BrightArt & Design Department
Housing staff is atrocious. Moving in was a nightmare. They should hire a full-time mediator. If you have issues with your roommates, they ignore them and hope it subsides because they are just RAs who do it for the free tuition, not because they are qualified. They refuse to allow anyone to move unless you continue to press them; they hope you give up because they are too lazy. Their off-campus housing is SO far away, 15-30 minutes by shuttle to Panther Village (yuck) or Chapman Grand. The apartments on campus are run-down. I transferred after two years.
