I am finishing my seconmd year here andQuite BrightEducation
I am finishing my seconmd year here and I mist say that my exerience has not been worth the money(well that's a tad harsh, but in reality it is kind of a waste....only kind of). I am majoring in secondary eduation and although, the program itself isn't all that shabby the teachers and TA's are full of it. They act as though they are perfect people living in a perfect world. Evertything revolves around them! If one goes in to ask for help they either will not be avaiable or too "busy"...YA RIGHT. One of my professors claimed that he had an important meeting to atttend and that we would have to postpone our "study session." Little did he know that I was in sitting right outside of his classroom and not once did he ever leave to go to an important meeting. But on the other hand the program itself isn't as bad as one might think. Some...only some of the perfessors are caring and compassionate! But the one's who are are fairly decent always have classes that are filled to just abut max. compacity. They will always be open for study sessions and meetings and their TA's are really quite helpfull!!! Annnnndddd, the work is pretty managable, so if your worried about the course worl/load don't be! :) Hope this helps

Question
Transferred in to UABBrightCommunications
Transferred in to UAB after changing majors and moving from UAH. I love the campus, the bustle of the city, and how friendly everyone on campus was. Though if you don't like hearing cars and ambulances all the time, you may not like it.

I transfered to UAB as an exploratory student.Super BrilliantChemical Engineering
I transfered to UAB as an exploratory student. This is my first semester. I completed two years prior to this at the University of West Georgia. I am attending school here along side a family member. This school is far superior to my old school (UWGA). To elaborate briefly, all of these items I will list below are superb in comparison to my previous school: Parking, Associate Students, Library & Computers, Campus Layout ( Flat no hills to traverse) Food! well worth the blazer bucks ( anyone who complains about suprises me ), extremely organized and a very good track for students seeking to be educators, the engineering department is also on point. healthcare education here is amazing. The one thing I didnt like about the school at first was how dificult the science classes are. At first I thought that the science teachers did not want me to suceed, if you stick to what seems madness you will quickly see that there system of teaching is GENIUS. : )
