I didn't do anything special to get into Towson than from other schools. But some advice for applying is to have good letters of recommendation from teachers. Ask teachers who can write out about you on a personal level rather than on a generic level. Have a strong personal statement. Schools like well-rounded students; those who are strong academically and also involved in extracurricular activities.

Its getting a lot tougher to get into Towson Unveristy. I was able to get in because I am a dance major and the audition for dance is seperate from the application to the University. My advice is to have a lot of extra curricular activities.
