If you are a good student, Drew is notApr 03 2011Chemistry
If you are a good student, Drew is not that hard to get into. The school is SAT optional, and for the most part, does not admit students based on athletics or legacy. Drew is mostly interested in your high school grades, difficulty of your high school courses, and your desire to be at a small liberal arts college.

The bigger issue for most students is affording Drew. The school is very expensive ($52,500 per year). Full academic scholarships no longer exist, but there are scholarships for academics, the arts, civic participation, and for minorities. Something like 97% of students receive some type of financial aid or scholarship, but be warned that the net cost (after receiving aid) for a typical student from a middle class family will $30,000 to $40,000 per year.

I performed average work throughout my high school year and I was sort of involved with extracurriculars at my high school. Having the SATS not required basically saved me. However that doesn't rule out the chance of being accepted automatically.
