FOR OUT OF STATE PEOPLE OR PEOPLE NOT FROM AROUND RICHMOND: In every state, be it a university or high school, there will nine times out of ten be a negative quality in attitude. This is simply because if you aren't from or around the Richmond area (or have similarities to to it), you won't get accustomed to the social life very quickly. Same thing with other states. I'm from VA, and I went to a field trip to NYU, where the people were also arrogant, BUT in a different way. They were independant, and thought they were "art-savy" and "deep" intellectually when they were merely stuck up pricks on pedistals.You might think the same way about VA, but you have to be born here because if someone from here visited your state and went to school there for a while, they would probably feel the exact same way that you do. You have to be accustomed to the lifestyle, and you might think Virginia is the most horrible place on earth but I gurantee people feel the exact same way about your area.

1st Year Female -- Class 2013

Education Quality: A-, Individual Value: F

Vcu like most colleges is what you make of it. when i first came in i didnt know what to think but after a few months i made friends and i got out of my room. my advice is get out and be active, meet new people make friends no matter what kind of person you are you will make friends and enjoy college the way it should be enjoyed. people may complain about the social life but that is there own issue. there are endless choices at a school of this size. its college dont be shy get out there and live!

1st Year Male -- Class 2013

Innovation: A, Useful Schoolwork: C-

This is a very easy school to get into, almost too easy. Literally ANYONE can get in, but it is a good school. One of the best if you are going into VCU for its Arts or Medical Program.

3rd Year Female -- Class 2011

Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: B-
