Alfred University is a great school if you get involved. The more involved you are the more people you will meet and the more connections you will have. Also, the professors really want you to succeed and they will help you in any way shape or form to help you achieve. College is what you make of it so if you have a positive attitude Alfred is a great place.

This school is a small school so rumors spread around quickly.... you pretty much know every one and can quickly get sick of it because its the same thing over and over again. Honestly I was only there for about a year and I'm now transferring to Ohio State University. Alfred is what you make it to be... it can be the best school or the worst, personally the school wasn't for me, but maybe it will be for you. The staff (including professors and deans) are very friendly though and always willing to help and if you take advantage of it you will thrive there. just watch out for the football team ladies and don't get too caught up in the nightlife.
