This school's Political Science program sucks and, isSuper BrilliantPolitical Science
This school's Political Science program sucks and, is a complete waste of tax-payers money. Out of all 4 colleges that I have attended so far, I would say MSU was the worst one in terms of quality of education. Everything else is pretty good -- small and safe town, nice people (with exception of some stubborn southern gentlemen). If you decide to go to this school, choose Business, Nursing, Education or Criminal Justice majors.

Question
It seems that most, if not all ofBrightPolitical Science
It seems that most, if not all of the negative comments are about night life/partying in Murray. It's definitely not the best for night life. It's not a do nothing town, it just takes so time to get used to it.

Most of the big parties are Greek (of course). There are other parties like those on farmers street, 12th street, campus suites, and the oven. Most weekend I just sit around with a dozen or so friends and drink.

It's a great school for the price. Most of the faculty members are great. Most of the people are nice. The dorms are constantly hosting something.Tl;dr: It's a great school. Not to many parties though.

"Close-minded" is the first thing you can hear about Murray State if ask any international student. Murray is a typical southern village with typical villagers - afraid of everything outside Kentucky, very afraid of international students, especially from Muslim countries.

The only place you can talk to people in Murray is a church. By the end of the semester, every international student I knew here was going to some kind of church just in order to meet people because otherwise no one would speak with them.If you aren't Christian, DO NOT come to Murray, you will not make any friends here, nor have any interesting lifetime.
