I think the school is a joke.Quite BrightMusic Education
I think the school is a joke. I have spent thousands of dollars to learn what I could've learned on my own playing with the software for a day. I recommend saving up and buying all the equipment that you use here. Not worth the money and they leaning is so unstructured. Just random people from the industry talking bout random shit at random times then just throwing homework on you like you have all the time in the world. The labs are hard to get access to because of the amount of people there are with different schedules it just gets booked. The schoo should supply the software for your assignments. For fuck sakes your tuition would cover it without it making too big of a dent in their wallet.

I graduated with anBrightDesign Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc
I graduated with an AA in Graphic Design. It was the best education, ever! It was pricey, but well worth it. I did the entire program online and enjoyed it. The work was challenging and it's not for the lazy student.

Question
Major: Fashion Design.Quite BrightArt & Design Department
Major: Fashion Design. The online department is awful, the quality of the students' works is beyond belief, and I mean in a bad way. Majority of them draw like little kids, I guess it's understandable since this school accepts ANYONE without asking any portfolios. On top of that, most online students don't have any sense of deadline and turn crappy assignments that are obviously done in the last minute. They don't teach you anything new about construction, everything they teach you can be found in books. I'm very frustrated with the quality of fashion department that they have here. They don't have any prominent career recruiting programs like other schools, once you graduate, good luck in finding jobs or internships. Faculty personnel is hard to reach. Everything is a big disappointment, so if you are interested in applying into their fashion programs, just skip it, don't even bother. Better go to Parsons where the education is worth the money, or FIT where it's a lot cheaper even if you are out of state students.
