Registering was very hard, find a knowledgableAug 12 2011Other
Registering was very hard, find a knowledgable academic advisor. Mine was friendly, but inexperienced. If your a dependent student taking out a loan, make sure you and your parent complete the loan AND the MPN on studentloans.gov. Keep a copy of everything you fax. If selected for verification, sign AND date everything.

Check out this site: This is the kind of site that struggling College students can but like (and bookmark). On ww w.ace you rco ll egec lass es.c o m, they will be able to post all the questions that are keeping them from these grades they should get this semester, and (for a fair price) receive all the help they need. This will come in the shape of handy tutorials, and the students will be able to preview them before buying anything, so that the quality (and usefulness) of what they are buying can always be ascertained in advance.

These tutorials are actually provided by other students who volunteer their time and effort to help people who can use some assistance. But it is not as if they were getting nothing tangible in return for what they are doing - they are actually being paid for their efforts. This turns the site into a more than valid alternative for all these students who are looking for a way to supplement the otherwise meagre income they get from their daily jobs.

I showed up and had a pulseDec 01 2009Business - Management and Administration
I showed up and had a pulse. It didn't matter how smart I was or my academic past. If you are driven and are a good learner on your own, attend this school. This is not a school for everyone. If I could do it over I would attend a more rigorous school. I attended UoP because I thought I could advice through undergrad at a faster pace, be challenged and move on to Grad school.

I don't recommend this university due to the percentageMay 21 2009Business - Management and Administration
I don't recommend this university due to the percentage of a persons grade that is based upon team projects, 30%. The grade is not distributed based upon who does the most work, everyone gets the same grade and if you are a alpha personality, you will be doing the vast majority of the work. Students are given no direction or help or guidelines in these team projects.

I clicked on an advertisement and within 2 hours,May 11 2009Other
I clicked on an advertisement and within 2 hours, I was contacted by the school. Within 3 days, I was accepted, enrolled, and filling out financial aid forms. It was amazing!
If you are truly interested in attending college, apply. You have to really sell yourself and your ability to achieve your dreams to the Academic adviser who calls you because around 5,000 people apply every month!
