Positive Negative Neutral Advice
This school has horrible parties and a socialBusiness - Management and Administration
This school has horrible parties and a social scene that is extremely high school like and clique based. The students I met were almost all superficial or jerks and stuck in a high school kind of mindset. The administration is money hungry and does not care about the welfare of it's students. They will NOT help you get a job once you graduate, you are completely on your own, which I and my brother who has a disability experienced.

Question
The friday before finals and the library STILLAverage
The friday before finals and the library STILL closes at 5 pm. This school just cuts corners to save money on everything at the expense of its students. It totally misrepresents itself to prospective students andmake it look like stuff happens on this campus and that their are soooo many satisfied people here by pushing a massive social media campaign and hiring advertising companies.seriously, this school is the WORST.

Question
The administration reached a whole new level ofAverageOther
The administration reached a whole new level of desperation and just sent out a email to all of its students "to perpetuate our brand." Some excerpts: "...the entire university should assume the role of the host." "Their impression and decision to attend umw depends on how they feel while they are here, so thank you for perpetuating our brand,..." EtcAlso goes on to tell its students to use hashtags during the day (e.g. ‪#‎BestDecisionEver‬). All of this is in attempts to skew Mary Washington's IMAGE in a positive manner, instead of being based solely on the authentic MaryWash (which isn't quite so pretty...). Fun fact: a student was murdered yesterday, few weeks before that a suicide, and dont even get me started out the rugby team or the kid who jumped out the 5th floor window of eagle. #mymarywash
