I absolutely loved my 4 years at JMU.Business - Management and Administration
I absolutely loved my 4 years at JMU. I went to a private, college prep high school so I was adequately prepared for college life. A lot of my freshman friends were failing or average but my freshman year was my best year. My classes had a tremendous impact on my ability to be a successful business owner for a few years. My own children will probably apply to JMU in 3 years from now. I still maintain the close friendships I made while at JMU.

Question
Accepting my offer to attend James Madison UniversityQuite BrightCommunications
Accepting my offer to attend James Madison University for my undergraduate degree was the best decision I have made thus far in my life. The campus is BEAUTIFUL- it is rumored that JMU spends just under the amount that Disney World spends on their aesthetic charm, the flowers, trees, well-kept grass, and bluestone walkways. It is actually hard to walk around campus without smiling at the sheer beauty of where you are. The food is DELICIOUS- it has been ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best food in the nation by Princeton Review. All of my classes have under 20 people in them; we get real face-to-face instruction from the brilliant professors employed here. Dorm life was unforgettable, and the freshman orientation week was a great kick off to my college career. Even though Harrisonburg isn't known for its booming city-life, I will still cherish all of the memories i have made here. If you are considering deciding James Madison University as your future home, stop by and come see for yourself. You won't regret it.

Question
I went to James Madison for 2 yearsQuite BrightBiology
I went to James Madison for 2 years as an undergraduate student, majoring in Biology. However, I transferred to a "better" school for my junior year, and I can honestly say it was probably one my worst academic mistakes of all time. Let me start by saying when I left, I REALLY thought I wanted to leave. I didn't like Harrisonburg, and I didn't have that many friends because I wasn't involved in any clubs on campus outside of intramural soccer. My review, therefore, is strictly academic based.

All the classes I had at JMU were small. The largest class I had was an intro-science class with 100 students. At my new school, I have over 400 kids in some of my classes. Small classes means the ability to get to know your professor. JMU kids have such a great advantage of students over possibly more prestigious schools because the faculty are more involved overall in the want to teach the material rather than in their own research.
