I couldn't be happier with my decision to attend JMU. It is a very welcoming place and a friendly atmosphere. The campus is beautiful. Academically, I have been challenged and have learned so much. I would highly recommend JMU and encourage a campus visit for anyone that is interested.

Hindsight is 20/20. With that knowledge i would not change a single thing about my undergraduate choice of JMU. The fellow students make this university absolutely amazing. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.

Great school. However, if you are going to college just to party, then you will love JMU(yes weekends do start on thursdays), but do not expect to stay too long if your grades are low. If you are not a partier and only are at school for the academics, save yourself the trouble and do not even apply. BUT, if you are like the majority of American students and want that perfect mixture between having both a great academic and college experience, then JMU is perfect for you. The campus is beautiful, the people are awesome, MOST of the professors you will love, and overall; JMU just kicks ass!
