Positive Negative Neutral Advice
This is my third University and I mustQuite BrightFinance
This is my third University and I must say I love the school itself and the city of Houston, but the faculty and staff here are EXTREMELY hard to deal with. I have been more stressed out with dealing with my transfer hours and University of Houston not being able to work with me to solve my problems regarding transfer of classes and class advising. I didn't want to believe that this school is just treating me as income, but it is quite clear. I have had something go wrong with everything I have done here and all the staff says is that "something went wrong in the system". DO NOT come to UH and expect to have your hand held through graduation process... they will try to keep you there as long as possible. On a side note.. as a male myself there are not many attractive Caucasian women here as you would find at UT or A&M. I have also been told by a few female students that the attractive male population is scarce. I would love to call this a perfect school because I have enjoyed being in the city of Houston and I embrace the school spirit but it is very hard to appreciate the university when you know in the back of your mind that they are trying to drain you of every last penny.

Question
I did not have the best experience atBrightFinance
I did not have the best experience at the university, only due to the fact that I stayed cooped up in my room all the time. Social life here is what you make it. I was outraged by all of the negative comments, that I do not feel were deserved. People's complaints were not so much about why they couldn't get a job once they left school, or why they couldn't get into grad school. I saw more complaints about location, and social life. It's obvious to me that the students are more concerned with having fun, and living in a good area, than the actual education. I also read complaints about leniency, but as adults you have to learn responsibility. One can not be upset for not being given passes throughout his/her education. You earn your grades here weather that be through study or cheating. Cheating is common at any university. I plan to finish my degree plan, and apply for grad school. With all of the internships available in the city, I can not begin to understand how a finance major could complain. You go to college to get an education and a good job, and that's what you will get at the University of Houston.

Question
My first year wasnt as fun as myQuite BrightPublic Health
My first year wasnt as fun as my second year mostly because I commuted my freshman year. This year I discover a lot of things to go and I am more involve in supporting the athletic cougar teams. I guess is a little more fun but academicly I think it lacks a little , the main problem I see is that class is to big there's alot of student. We are missing the teacher student interaction that we only get if the class size was much smaller.
