The main problem with Southwestern is that they want your money, but when it comes to overpayment of fees due to loans, grants, scholarships, they can not commit to a time for payment. This creates a problem for students who rely upon these funds to exist. Each time they are contacted about this area (this area only), they seem defensive and can not give a time frame for payment. If you register with Southwestern, be prepared to wait weeks for excess funds to be paid to you.

This is a wonderful university. Although parties are not condoned, there are plenty of other things to do. We have lots of fun without all the drugs and alcohol. It is a Christian university with Christian values and everyone there, from the staff to the students, shows those values everyday.

During registration it would be helpful to have a layout of each building posted. It was challenging to find where a class was located within a building once you arrived.
