Temple University is fabulously diverse, open-minded and canQuite BrightPsychology
Temple University is fabulously diverse, open-minded and can be molded into whatever you want- if you want a freakishly depraved college experience, just look around. If you have no moral backbone- join one of our lovely frats or become a sorority-slut. If you have nothing to do on the weekend- you're a loser. If you're stupid enough to wander off campus alone at 2am trashed off you're bum- you're a loser. If you somehow manage to get an A in Chem- once again, you're a loser. Do not house your sorry ass in J'n'H or Peabody. Put this order on your request form: 1300, 1940, and White Hall. Do not expect your math teachers to speak english or understand it. Do expect the cops to take a few swigs with you at a frat party. Don't expect to get caught waltzing 40s into your dorm. Do expect to get fire alarms for a week straight in September at 4.30am due to Rush Week. Don't sleep with anyone in Pi Lam. Jew frats parties are gay. The food trucks rock. Be careful of the beef from the Taco Bell in SAC. Buy books at Zavelle's. The egg rolls at Temple Star are $1 and be nice to the homeless guys- theyre nice and if youre not they'll growl at you...literally. Living in Philly is awesome- concerts, free galleries first friday of every month, art, clubs, shopping, history, hot guys, smart guys....smart, hot guys who want to date are not easily found at Temple. Oh, and the educational experience has been fabulous so far. I've enjoyed and learned so much from my professors- I love the psych and philosophy dept. Thats my bit.

Terrible services, horrendous and inefficient bureacracy. The honors program sucks, it's this weird combo of propaganda and ignorant positive thinking which a portion of the kids in the program buy into. 1300 sucks. Dorms are awful. Get an apartment and good friends and find an EXCELLENT program at temple (e.g. phsych, urban studies and geography so ive heard) or it will be worse than high school.

Don't believe anything they tell you on the tour. Also, what you see is ALL you get. The maps make campus look big, but it's small and there's nothing to on campus. Go to fishtown or northern liberties or another part of the city for cool shit. Philly is awesome and there are jobs and good people to meet and work for; just don't depend on temple to make things happen this school will infinitely disappoint. PS honors kid suck! Almost as much as the random idiot temple student. There are good people though! Also be polite to all the people who work here!

Campus is really changingQuite BrightCriminal
Campus is really changing and exploding with new technology and facilities. This school has much to offer but it won't hold your hand through the whole ordeal. If you want a social life get one, if you need help get it, if you are lost ask for directions. This isn't high school.
