This university is simply awful.Quite BrightOther
This university is simply awful. It employs the most incompetent and disrespectful people I have ever met. There have been a total of three professors throughout my whole college career here that were good at their jobs and were helpful. Temple frequently messes up on financial issues and then makes you feel guilty for their mistakes and makes you wait until they eventually fix it after calling and waiting on hold 6 times. The food staff is just horrible. They are rude and ignorant. I could not be more dissatisfied with my last four years of an educational experience. I feel that the work I have done will be worthwhile, but the cost at which to get my degree has been unnecessarily difficult. The surrounding area is unbelievable unsafe. I have witnessed gun shots in front of my apartment not too far off of campus as well as hearing about sexual assaults and robberies at gunpoint around my home.

Well, this school basically cares about your money. They won't give you a quality eduction, and charge you for everything. Let say you want to take an art class and thats not your intended major, well there goes 450 dollars extra for one semester for no reason. plus they do it without warning. I get into fights with the Temple police officers because they try to get in your pants. Also, the financial aid office doesnt care about anyone. be prepared to wait long hours, get your classes messed up, money going to waste, fights with random people, makng no friends, and just hating the environment! Temple is bad I will never recommend it to anyone else. If you pay for your own tuition like myself, and you go here, you will be paying for shit that you wouldn't think you can charged for! its horrible, dont come and get out if you can!

Question
I come from a suburban area in NewQuite BrightUndecided
I come from a suburban area in New Jersey. In high school I guess I was seen as the "artsy" type. I partied in high school. I did not want to come to Temple at ALL but due to financial reasons, this is where I ended up. I hate this school. To start, there are so many IDIOTS that go here because it is a state school with a high acceptance rate. The majority of the student body seems completely unfriendly and I've heard many other people say that it is difficult to meet people especially if you don't within the first week. The faculty here (excluding some teachers) are the rudest people I have ever encountered. Everyone that works here acts like you are bothering them when asking them a simple question. It creates a poor atmosphere for the school. The parties here suck despite the reputation it has for being a great party school.

On a positive note I think that the campus is really cool and the food isn't bad. The football games are fun if you are into that kind of thing.

In the time that I've been here there have been two shootings on Broad street (very close to my residence hall)but overall this school was a horribly choice for me and if you aren't an insane partier or a jock DON'T COME HERE. Also DO NOT come here if you care about having IDIOTS in your classes. NORTH PHILLY SUCKS. Don't come to this school it sucks a shitload you'll be much happier somewhere else.
