I was transferred from a small private universityAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
I was transferred from a small private university due to limited business courses opened in the small university. Temple is a good choice if you like small or average class size with public school tuition, especially if you family is not rich, most of my classless with 20 to 50 students. Great opportunities in campus or internship around the city. Fox business School provides the high quality education at a lower than average cost compared with other schools. The professors really care about the students in their courses and career. A lot of job opportunities due to the location in center city. It is very diverse university. The outside neighborhood is rough around the campus, inside the campus is really safe. The ranking is low due to the high acceptance rate and the transfer from community college but the business school and overall education is great.

I don't have much bad to say about Temple.
I may not have liked all my professors but I respected all of them. Coursework seems standard, not that I know what the alternatives are. The Calculus courses might be harder than average.

The staff is usually helpful. I studied abroad in Japan for a semester and it all went pretty smoothly, despite my incompetence.

The area is bad but it's fine as long as you don't get too far off-campus.
It's probably easier to party here than other schools, but you really have to attend your classes regularly if you want to do well. I've seen a bunch of people just stop going to class and drop out because they were so behind on work.Overall, like I said, I think Temple is a pretty good school, though it's the only one I've been to so I don't have anything to compare it to.

This campus is amazing and continues to provide me with an education that I find enjoyable and applicable as well. Safety is not an issue here and the campus police are everywhere (so are philly police); common sense is all it takes to be safe if you think it's a problem. Temple gives students the freedom to do whatever they want and that is something that most other colleges cannot match. Besides, the enforcers have bigger issues to deal with in the city than us. Their presence; however, is always known.
