Worst Decision of my Life.BrightPolitical Science
Worst Decision of my Life. This school is an aweful, bureaucratic shithole. If you go here, prepare to run in circles for atleast an extra year than you planned. Campuses are crap, busses overloaded, parking non-existant, teachers for the most part are ok (too many foreign speakers trying to grade 10 page essays in English though), Deans are overcompetent, unorganized, and arrogant, advisors unreachable, and the place is overpriced, yet they find any way to steal more money from you (15th edition Books, early withdrawal situations, etc). Don't go here. Don't send your kids here. Don't touch foot on this campus unless you want to walk away with shit on your shoes....

Overall I would say this is a prettyBrightPolitical Science
Overall I would say this is a pretty good school. The academics are pretty good and no complains. The work is not terribly challenging but pretty decent. Great professors who really want to help students. As for social life, partying does somewhat dominate the weekend. If you're a guy and do not have at least 4 girls, forget it you're not getting in any party. The buses suck sometimes. But overall the peopel are friendly and good professors! Good school. Come here if you want to get a good education and have fun.

Question
Rutgers is very similar to the real world,Political Science
Rutgers is very similar to the real world, but a little rosier--people will rarely hold your hand, but if you work hard you can do very well and make great, lasting connections with professors and peers. The school offers zillions of student-led organizations, or you can form your own, as many of my friends did. Being involved in extra-curriculars was almost like a full-time job on top of my 16-19 credit/semester courseloads and part-time job, but I loved it. I truly believe that I could have been happy at many different schools because there are so many colleges and universities out there, and they all have their pluses and minuses. I've never regretted my choice to go to Rutgers and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
