EVERY. DAMN.Quite BrightPsychology
EVERY. DAMN. YEAR. I had issues with the financial aid office. Apply for a loan. Approved. Do entrance counseling. Accept loan. Everything is fine. Payment deadline comes and oh!! Suddenly, they need more information. More verficiations or, in my case this year, my loan was cancelled for NO GIVEN REASON. AND OF COURSE, AS WITH EVERY YEAR - MY COURSES HAVE BEEN DROPPED.

They have employed students to do work they are underqualified to do. Nobody knows what they are doing. As far as the education goes, most professors are clueless and apathetic.

There are a few, and I mean FEW good professors. This school is a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SAVING MONEY BY GOING HERE, YOU ARE WRONG.

Question
To be honest with you, I did notAverageFinance
To be honest with you, I did not come with the expectation that it would be the best school ever with the best programs. I came here to take care of business, get my degree, and be on my merry way. Imo, this is not, or rather should not be your first choice. I had no other choice being a hs dropout with a ged and no SAT scores. Tbh though, some reviews seem quite harsh. I had no trouble meeting and befriending people and the professors are very easy to get along with. It's the rest of the staff I hate dealing with. The counselors don't counsel, student employees definitely dont want to be there, and one would realize that it's really just another business with bad customer support. If not for the professors, I'm sure I would have dropped out a long time ago, but most of my professors actually showed effort in making sure we learned the coursework. Maybe its because i come from an 8 year sales background, but i learned to deal with the bs, look for the good, and move on. Overall, my experience wasnt bad, but their overpriced books(i bought on amazon anyway), ridiculous "lab fees" for classes that dont use labs, and reluctant administrative assistance are what keep them from really excelling. The academics are there with mba and phd holding professors/doctors. The students, however, are very mixed. Most coming from urban backgrounds like myself, very few actually want to do work and end up becoming worthless teammates, but natural leaders will always step up, delegate responsibilities, and create contingency plans in the case of a bad seed.
