I was told that only people with anHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
I was told that only people with an ax to grind write these reviews, so I am hoping to dispel the myth. Carolina completely changed my life, and I am so happy I chose to go there for my undergrad. I had plenty of interaction with professors who made me feel like I WAS at a small college--they knew my name, were interested in my life. I had a few large classes, yes, but for the most part, I was engaged in classes with less than 30 people. I took courses on every conceivable topic, meet the most intelligent and exciting people, and paid way less than Dookies for the same education. I take that back. Our education was better. :) You meet people from every walk of life, and the way you approach your education really reflects the way you approach Carolina. If you want to evolve and become a more well-rounded person, it is easy as pie. If you want to sit in your room and whine, you can do that, too. Either way, you will leave Chapel Hill a differene person. It, much like anything else, isn't for everyone, but if it is, I congratulate you on choosing the best public university in the country. It'll be a wonderful experience.

Question
UNC's reputation is outstandingSuper BrilliantPolitical Science
UNC's reputation is outstanding although A's are hard to come by. If you want to go to a grad school, go to an easier school for undergrad.

Question
I think that UNC is a great universityNot so brightEconomics
I think that UNC is a great university and those who have responded negatively are probably introverts who shouldn't have been accepted in the first place. I love it here. I do, however, have a critique concerning the class sizes. However, one considering this school in the future should not be that pressed about this issue because UNC is in the process of raising 1.8 billion dollars that will aid greatly in alleviating that problem among many. Overall, the academic experience is enlightening (but hard) and positive.
