Pensacola Christian College has been a nightmare.AverageUndecided
Pensacola Christian College has been a nightmare. Don't come here. It's not worth the low price. It has the aura of a cult to it, and my year here has been miserable. To give you an idea of their delightful rules, just know that women are not permitted to leave the dorm with wet hair, alledgedly because it causes men to picture then in the shower, women cannot leave campus by themselves if they are under 21, a huge percentage of the campus is considered "unchaperoned," and there will be consequences of you are seen with someone of the opposite sex in these locations - yet they are not marked as unchaperoned. Women are no longer permitted to use the diving boards in the pool because men can see them from one of the residence halls. A woman's parents may take her and her male acquaintance off campus, but the man's parents may not. After having been here long enough, students are afraid of the real world. I know people who are genuinely afraid to leave campus because of the image PCC portrays of normal people. It's a very stressful place to live; I am constantly paranoid because it seems like you can be punished for ANYTHING.

Honestly, this place is like a prison campBrightCriminal
Honestly, this place is like a prison camp and this is coming from a 2016 student. Most people that I have talked to who are attending are miserable here. The faculty as far as teachers are usually fine and helpful but the people in student life, who are supposed to help students, often just serve as a group of proud people with no regard to common sense. There are rules that most would laugh at because they are stupid and make absolutely no common sense at all. All in all, if I had the money and could take my friends with me, I'd go anywhere else.

Question
1. Know what your getting into! Don't goBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
1. Know what your getting into! Don't go if you can't handle rules, close-minded people, and lots of required activities.

2. Friends. People who struggle to find friends here probably have somthing wrong with themselves. Most people are friendly.

3. Rules are 100x better for the male students than female. Inside guys dorms is much like any other college and RA's and building managers are usually relaxed. Room parties, Movies, jokes, music, wrestling, and any general goofing off you might be looking to join in on.4. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Know when and when not to screw around and cause trouble. Don't be stupid and hide places to make oit with your girlfriend.
