If you can make it, stay for twoNot so brightCriminal
If you can make it, stay for two or three years then transfer to liberty university. it may take some arguing but they will give in to taking all your credits and they are acredited.even if you dont care for their contemporary music you dont have to listen to it its your choice, you are after all an adult and they are much better at letting you behave like one. then you will graduate with a valuable degree less debt and a much better understanding of who you are as a christian. it is also quite amusing to listen to students at liberty complain about rules, and funny when you say you came from pcc the first thing they say is what did you do to get kicked out.I left voluntarily, but a few things to get you through pcc most important is who your friends are make sure they are not "PCC" and stay in that close circle, never talk about anything you do to break the rules(and you will break them, everyone does) even if you think someone is cool cuz you saw them breaking the rules, dont count on it all it takes is one your evil if you dont turn in your friends sermon for them to get a "consience". save your demerits, dont waste them not cleaning your room you will need them if they decide to target you. i went 90% of a semester once with 0 then got 75 for letting my friend borrow my camera and he took some stupid pics. get off campus as much as possible to keep your sanity. good luck

Question
I am very discouraged to see many reviewsBright
I am very discouraged to see many reviews of PCC that discourage attendance because "PCC is a boot camp" and other nonsense. I will admit that PCC does have rules, and several of them at that; however, it is the student's responsibility to know what they are getting into before they apply. PCC is not for everyone, and those that go there for the wrong reasons will not be there for long. My experience at PCC has both negative and positive values, so please take my advice. I grew up in Pensacola, and I have seen the college change over the past couple years and over a decade are so. Gone are the days in which women were forced to wear "hose" 24/7, as well as many other rules. That being said, however, PCC still has rules that they enforce with vigor. Follow the rules and don't rebel, and you may find your years there quite bearable, even enjoyable at times. On the other hand, if you are part of the group that will insist on living the life at PCC, you will either have the worst time of it, or you will have no time of it, because they will kick you out. I've seen too many of my friends go down the same path, or start pushing as hard as they can against the boundaries, only to find that the boundary will break if you push too hard. Such people are the ones leaving comments with obscenities and nothing but spite for the college. Don't come to PCC because your parents or youth pastor wants you to come; come because you feel this is where God is leading you. Come with the willingness to learn and the ability to be taught, and God will use that willingness and ability to make you into what He wants you to be.

Question
I went to Pensacola because of the priceNot so brightEducation
I went to Pensacola because of the price and the things that I heard about it from the people in my church. I only made it through a year before I transferred out. Like others have said, the rules are crazy (although they are better than they use to be). With everyone trying to "watch out" for one another and make sure they are doing the correct thing, it makes a person a nervous wreck if you aren't ready for that kind of thing. The best advice I can give to anyone out there is to research PCC before they jump to a decision. Make sure you are 100% ready for the rules, lack of accreditation, etc.
