Hmm. . . this is an ok university. There is an abundance of social activities and all but its just interesting at the number of people that here that perhaps shuld be in college. I dunno if thats how it is everywhere but there is a definate amount of those types at the Florida State Universty.

Question
Prior to, and even while enrolled at, FloridaCommunications
Prior to, and even while enrolled at, Florida State, I measured institutions solely by their academic standing. Reports of Florida State's top party school rankings were discouraging to me at the time, serving to tarnish the academic reputation of a school whose pedagogical prowess had not been highly regarded. Since graduating, I've realized the value of a comprehensive education, one that stresses academic performance, but also interpersonal skills, because academics really won't take you far independent of strong character and personality, attributes that are in far greater abundance at FSU than many schools I've experienced.Essentially, I'm glad I didn't attend a dork school, and value every moment I spent at Florida State, both academically and socially.

Question
Any school is what you make of it.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Any school is what you make of it. FSU was an amazing experience for me and I attribute my success to working hard and to what I learned at Florida State. Some of the classes are large, but any university with more than 15,000 students will be that way. I also had junior and senior level courses that had fewer than 15 students. All in all, FSU is an unbeatable value. You can get a top notch education for a 1/4 of what you would pay at a private univeristy. Take advantage of the social scene (it is college afterall), but don't let your priorities get out of whack. Study hard and party hard - you'll find the EXACT same formula applies in "the real world"!
