This place is a joke! I lived inAverageUndecided
This place is a joke! I lived in Brevard Community college for 14 years. When I was little going into BCC with my sister years ago it was a nice school until it became the worst school ever! The students are nice, but the teachers can be rude, or not teach you what you need to be taught. Not mentioning the worst Office for students with a disability. I want to get the heck out of this college into another one.I had one awesome teacher, but other that don't waste your time!

Question
Wait, am I in college or high school?Quite BrightAnthropology
Wait, am I in college or high school? From the difficulty of the classwork I would say that this is more like high school. Some of the teacher at BCC should not even be teaching. Actually, with the exception of some of my science and art classes, I would say that this is the vast majority of the teachers.

Many of the students have no place in college. It really lessens the classroom experience when you have students who still act like they are in high school (disrupting the class). One of my English classes had a student whin "I can't read Hamlet, I don't know any of this Shakesphere language crap." The not so brilliant teacher responded "Yes, I know early English is hard at first." If you an English teacher, shouldn't you know that Hamlet is in fact written in modern English? But then, that's BCC for you.If you go to the Cocoa Campus, I suggest making sure you car is locked and you don't take night classes. This isn't the greatest part of town.

Question
I really regret having "sold out" and acceptingQuite BrightEnglish
I really regret having "sold out" and accepting mediocrity in my education. With several notable exceptions, a majority of the teachers I've had are either idiots, morons, or some other flavor of incompentant. Either way, I'd only suggest going here if you can't hack it at a 4 year school, or if you don't value being challenged at all. I think I've gotten stupider as a result of my brain not having to work at all whilst here... On the plus side, I want to be a writer, and going to BCC has made me hate life even more than before, which I'm pretty sure is a good thing if you want to write, or make sure that your psychologist gets HIS kids through a good college.
