I came to this University from Denmark.Quite BrightArt & Design Department
I came to this University from Denmark. I had gone to an arts school before I came to America. AAU went out of their way to welcome me and help me as a foreign student. People were bright and worked hard and most faculty members tried to help. And the area resources were great. I was well prepared for work in the field. I have already recommended this university to friends of mine back home.

One has to work very hard but this is like work after university.
My only surprise was compared to Europe how conservative the students were in matters of dress. Given where the university is located and the art focus, where were all the goths and cross dressers and women who showed off their bodies? My first week here one of the professors invited some students to her house. I wore a sweater, dark nylons and boots only. While no one laughed and no one told me to put on a skirt or at least underwear, it was like no one saw someone dress for a party like this before. Come visit me in Copenhagen! If you want to work hard and be chalenged and get valuable education come here.

WJU faculty and staffQuite BrightEnglish
WJU faculty and staff are more than helpful to see that your education useful and relevant. They inspire and teach in different ways. Although, WJU is not for everyone, it certainly is applicable to those that are willing to learn how to think, not what to think.

Question
The best thing I ever did is moveArt & Design Department
The best thing I ever did is move from Michigan to California. A whole new world was open to me. I learned not only about my major, I grew as a person. I became an adult. I went to a city where I knew no one, best way to learn about yourself. I hated the transition at first, everything was so different, but those struggles made me work harder for what I wanted. I learned no one can do this for me, I did it for myself. I struggled, but I survived and I am happy with where I am and who I am.
