I transfered to UAB as an exploratory student.Super BrilliantChemical Engineering
I transfered to UAB as an exploratory student. This is my first semester. I completed two years prior to this at the University of West Georgia. I am attending school here along side a family member. This school is far superior to my old school (UWGA). To elaborate briefly, all of these items I will list below are superb in comparison to my previous school: Parking, Associate Students, Library & Computers, Campus Layout ( Flat no hills to traverse) Food! well worth the blazer bucks ( anyone who complains about suprises me ), extremely organized and a very good track for students seeking to be educators, the engineering department is also on point. healthcare education here is amazing. The one thing I didnt like about the school at first was how dificult the science classes are. At first I thought that the science teachers did not want me to suceed, if you stick to what seems madness you will quickly see that there system of teaching is GENIUS. : )

Question
I loved uab.BrightPreMed and Medical
I loved uab. I loved the respect I got from people outside of the school for studying pre-med. however, hard work is looked over due to competiveness. the competition is STEEP. some faculty will treat you horrible and will even be racist. some faculty will do everything they can for you. your best bet is to look at rate my professor. it will help sooo much because some teachers are ridiculously hard. if you are not good at science. do not waste your time here. science is serious and it is difficult. I hate how students here are, many wont speak and are fairly unfriendly. I don't think anyone here likes uab, we just deal with it to get a decent future career. school spirit is basically non existent lol. with the exception to basketball becaused football s u c k s. omg its sad. parties get old quick. don't come for the college experience come too work long story short

Question
I attended UAB for four years.Quite BrightMath
I attended UAB for four years. It was the greatest experience of my life. I did not go to college in order to have the "college experience" most people want. I went to college for a good quality education and UAB provides that. UAB wants to be known as a school that produces individuals who can perform in the top of their perspective fields. It is not known as a party school which is what attracted me to it in the first place.

While attending UAB, I felt like the faculty was always very helpful. My professors were always just an email away, and if I needed more than an email they were more than willing to meet with me in person.I loved my undergraduate experience at UAB so much that I decided to go to grad school there too. I completed the graduate program for secondary education. If you are planning to be a teacher, this is an exceptional program. UAB is so confident in the teachers that they produce, they guarantee that the schools will be satisfied with us. In fact if a school is unsatisfied with a teacher that graduated from UAB, UAB will train the teacher further at no cost. What more could you ask for from a university?
