If i had the chance to pick another school i defintely would. VCU is a commuter school with ~70% commuters. also most students are in-state students so on weekends there's not much to do on campus. I was pretty much friends with the same few people from freshman year. As for the academic environment... i was just another faceless number amongst thousands. school felt more like a job to be accomplished rather than an enjoyable growing expereince. i would recommend HS students to thoroughly inspect a school before deciding to go. find a school with more school spirit than mine.
