Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
Pensacola Christian College is a place for people to go if they are used to being degraded, and treated like a child as an adult. First, you can't leave campus by yourself until your 21 or a Senior. Second, you are treated as a prisoner, and more than once I got in trouble for walking with a guy 20 feet away from the "Approved" spot. People are judgmental, and most of the time it felt like I was living in a different era. They require you to go to church and chapel everyday, as well as different meetings. Because of this, and the mandatory curfew at 11, you hardly have any time to study. And if you are caught studying after 11, you are considered a cheater, and dealt with as such. The dress code is horrible, and I got in trouble for wearing a denim jacket, and was required to go and change before I could go to lunch. So I had to walk all the way across campus to my dorm, and then back to the dining hall before I could eat. You aren't aloud to talk to the same gender while in the library. You can't wear jeans, even in the dorm rooms. Shorts and tank tops can not be worn in the hallways of the dorms. You can't listen to music other than PCC's Rejoice! or bookstore approved music. You can only go to the PCC beach, which ironically is a gay beach. (At least for the women.) IN my experience, PCC made me HATE religion, rules, skirts, and it didn't make me smarter. I hardly had time to study with all the ridiculous rules they had. I did have a good biology lab instructor, and biology instructor who wanted to see students learn, but even then they were hard to access and get a hold of.
