Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
UCLA has a large gap between certain majors. Science/engineering students will find themselves knee-deep in study material while English/Art/Political Science/pretty much everything else students will have lots of spare time. I'm not saying those majors are "easy", since different things are easy for different people, but they definitely do not have as large of a courseload. Nevertheless the professors I have encountered from any department have been extremely knowledgeable and are willing to help students learn. UCLA has truly enriched my education and ability to learn on my own, as this school does NOT baby you - you have to figure out your own sh*t. The campus is extremely beautiful and I get happy just walking to class and looking around sometimes. I've found the majority of students to be pretty friendly and approachable. Avoid the Greek system unless you want to experience high school all over again (most the people who join are the people who thought they were so awesome in high school that they HAVE to go Greek, to be cool of course - or they are just super freaking awkward people who want to feel cool). Oh and USC sucks.
