The comments that Lafayette was small, non-diverse, and no big sports program amused me. Did these people visit the school before they applied? Its a quality small college where you can choose to know almost everyone if you break out of the cliques. Easton's old reputation is a lot worse than current reality. For comparison, I did a semester at a quality state school taking "hard" classes and got straight A's. Lafayette was much more demanding but you can hardly beat the faculty ration and their availability. Its formal national ranking is pretty accurate. I'm sure you can still party 2-4 days a week and get a great education. Work hard, Play hard!
