I love UH, I came thinking I could always transfer out if I didn't love it but I found a jem. Most people haven't realized the greatness of UH yet but I kind of like it that way. I am in the business school and most if not all of the students are friendly with each other and it is very easy to make new friends. The student clubs and organizations are very fun and worth while. I don't know anything about greek life, but the people who I see around campus involved seem to enjoy it. I recommend this school to anyone. You will find the best professors and a grade A university.
