FOR OUT OF STATE PEOPLE OR PEOPLE NOT FROM AROUND RICHMOND: In every state, be it a university or high school, there will nine times out of ten be a negative quality in attitude. This is simply because if you aren't from or around the Richmond area (or have similarities to to it), you won't get accustomed to the social life very quickly. Same thing with other states. I'm from VA, and I went to a field trip to NYU, where the people were also arrogant, BUT in a different way. They were independant, and thought they were "art-savy" and "deep" intellectually when they were merely stuck up pricks on pedistals. You might think the same way about VA, but you have to be born here because if someone from here visited your state and went to school there for a while, they would probably feel the exact same way that you do. You have to be accustomed to the lifestyle, and you might think Virginia is the most horrible place on earth but I gurantee people feel the exact same way about your area.
