To me the strengths of the school are the professors. They will know your name, and do whatever they can to help a student. Some drawbacks of the school inslude being located in a questionable area as far as safety is concerned. Muggings were fairly common when I attended. (02-07) On the other hand, I personally never had a problem, and I believe the university has taken some steps to improve things since I graduated a few years ago. Overall its a good school, in a so-so location. I had some problems with roomates but I cannot blame the school completely for that. Socially it was not a good exprience for me, but academically the professors were great and I will be heading to law school so I value the eduation I recieved there. If you can handle the location the education you will recieve there is solid.
