Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
I really enjoy living in Berkeley. Some people say it's "ghetto" (hate that word) and unsafe, but that hasn't been my experience. I enjoy living in Berkeley more than I enjoy attending Cal. If I didn't like the city, my experience here would be miserable. My major (Media Studies) is an absolute joke. There is no practical application and, even worse, the course material often goes off-track and doesn't even seem to apply to the subject matter, which is frustrating and weird. The faculty ranges from great (Turner) to ridiculous (Levina). If I didn't receive so much financial aid and actually had to pay tuition out of my own pocket, I would be LIVID that I paid for this level of "education". I've heard that other majors are better but, if you are a Media Studies major, proceed with caution.
