Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
I came here expecting to be surrounded by hicks and dummies that couldn't get into UT or A&M, boy was I wrong. Not that there aren't a handful of those around, but Tech students are fun and easy going. Lubbock is a fun town, being from Austin I wasn't expecting much, but I was very surprised with how much there was to do, especially during Football season (GO RAIDERS!) So far everything has been great, the school is a blast and I'm learning more everyday. Also! Tech is giving more and more scholarships out, going here is a good choice, and you will not regret it. The only downside is that Lubbock is far away from most other cities, though Amarillo is close and the city itself is HUGE, just don't expect to be jetting around unless you have a prius or lots of money. I love Tech and am having a blast, go RAIDERS!!!
