I am so fortunate to have attended Rutgers, and I have become only more thankful as the years have gone by. My sole regret is that I did not make more of the academic opportunities while I was there; I think I was immature, and I was definitely lazy. I received a great education in spite of myself, and I cannot think of ways I could have enjoyed life in New Brunswick during those four years any more than I did. The lessons I learned in student organizations and in my social life at Rutgers continue to serve me well. I have never had to explain myself about going to Rutgers, and the degree only increases in luster as one moves further afield. There is nothing I would have wanted in a college that wasn't available at Rutgers, and I would be so pleased and proud if my child is able to enter in the next few years.
