Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
The social experience at SU is great, couldn't ask for anything better. It's fun, there's enough people at SU where you can always meet new people, yet it's small enough where you'll usually see one or two people you know on the way to classes. The professors and programs vary with what school you're in. In the iSchool, the faculty are pretty relaxed and down to earth (and helpful). I was also getting a degree in the biology dept. and those professors were usually much more either arrogant or kind of had the "we'll I'm here to reserach...oh yeah and I have to teach this fricken class too." There were some good professors in the bio dept. but ESF for example, was much more teaching-focused and treated it less like a second job they are forced to do.
