Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
UC Davis is a great school for undergraduate, I liked the campus and feel like I have been taught by some of the best professors in the Electrical Engineering department. The city, Davis, is small and people tend to be in bed by midnight; but if you're 21, and it's a Friday night, there are several bars to select from which tend to be fun but after awhile it starts to get pricey. Sacramento is only 15 minutes away and so there are clubs and hookah bars that 18+ year old students can go to. I would recommend incoming freshmen to live on campus their first year since they'll be able to make new friends fairly quickly and also select which individuals they can live with off-campus for the subsequent years at the university. Several sites to keep in mind when embarking studies at the university are... my.ucdavis.edu (e-mail) sisweb.ucdavis.edu (registering for classes) www.siscast.com (for creating schedule) www.unitrans.com (bus schedule when living off-campus) sacramento.craigslist.org (searching for housing off-campus) www.yelp.com (searching for places to eat in Davis)
