Major: (This Major's Salary over time)
So when you select a school you want to go to, you kind of get an idea of what to expect. After reading all the negative comments, I had to right one of my own that brings justice to how FTC really is. One thing students fail to realize is that even though college can have its fun times, you basically want to get your ass in gear for the real world. You know the kind where you have to be on you're own and make money one day. Now Im not prude and I've definitely had my share of partying, but there comes a time when you just want to settle down and be real about you're career. FTC is not a party school for one, number two if you want sports go to a fucking NCAA school, this is a arts school. I am a transferred in Theatre major from Queens College and compared to their BA, this was a smart move for me. FTC is a sleeper school since it hasn't been around for a while and no one has heard that much about it outside of LI. I can't speak for other majors, but my program truly satisifes my needs in school. Academics are pretty standard, but frankly, if youre those I got to question everything people, then don't bother. All I'm saying is you get what you pay for. For me, its a easy commute and making friends is pretty simple as long as youre personable. Are there snooty people? well theres snooty people everywhere you go, if you have social issues thats youre own thing, but making friends isnt hard at this school. Faculty is pretty knowledgeable and each has their own story. As for social stuff, its what you make of it. Are there events? yeah just people are usually too busy to go to anything unless you dorm of course. As for location its LI, it has as much to do as any other place you just need to look for it. Thus, I leave you with this.... If you want a hardcore party school then this aint for you. Other than that, you get a great education, which is what college is all about.
