I'm a really good student, but even still you should not have too much of a problem with the school work here. a lot of the professors have their own little quirkyness, but they still do a good job at presenting the information. Lubbock is pretty much a shit hole outside of the campus, but the campus is really nice and you can always find something to do on campus or in the close surronding area (parties). The only really bad part of Tech is that it is really far from everything.
