The other reviews you have just read are EXACTLY right. I could not have said it better. A waste of money. I have found myself working / slaving a way for a dishonest veterinarian just so I can get clinical experience. The teachers act like we have all had clinical experience and they just expect us to know what they are lecturing. Bel - rea requires you to purchase their logo scrubs (as if they don't make enough money already) books, what a joke. My books have never been opened. Why buy a $90 book when teachers only lecture from an $18.00 manual. ??? Memorize the manual and you will get A's in your classes. You don;t have to understand the information, just memorize your manual word for word and you will do great in the program. That is not the type of education I wanted to spend $22,000 on! Not to mention the expense gas, books, scrubs, boarding, the fact that I can only work part time hours instead of full time now. I figure each class with all of the overhead and my reduced income (working for a vet just for clinical experience) is costing me about $3000 for a 10 week class. Add it up, NOT WORTH IT! Check out Coloado Mountain College. I have heard wonderful things about that school. they have a beautiful campus. Not some dark dingy building they try to cram everyone in to. There is NO where to study, lounge is full and stinks, testing rooms are always full, and library is too small. I have to leave campus and go to Starbucks just for a place to study. That gets expensive too. Well only 2 more quarters til graduation. Maybe the AVMA should have student reviews before they accredit a school. The admission ladies are great, great at sales that is. They enroll people left and right, they can also sell ice to eskimos. Don't be fooled!!!! Fancy advertising and sweet smiles are not the real of Bel-rea!!
